Although neon green is about as far from neutral as they get, I have surprisingly been able to get quite a lot of use out of this bright Tibi dress in the few short weeks I’ve owned it.  This past weekend, I paired it with matching neon and crystal earrings and my YSL pumps for dinner with my family.

Sometimes all you need to spice up outfit is a red lip and sky high heels. These YSL Tribute Mary Jane Pumps were a birthday gift a few years ago but still remain as classic as ever. I recently wore them with my red DVF Fleurette dress for my father’s birthday dinner.  It just so happened that my Nars Lipstick in Heat Wave matched the dress perfectly!

Now that the weather is heating up, I decided to break out my new white accessories. I’ve not been a huge advocate of white heels in the past, but these strappy Steve Madden sandals have changed my mind. Not only are they super flattering, they also go with everything!

One of my favorite things about Easter is getting to see the colorful spring fashion begin to emerge.  I felt like yesterday was the perfect occasion to wear this ombré tweed dress by Shoshanna. The vibrant pinks and oranges seemed like the perfect way to welcome spring and celebrate the holiday.

The Island Life

I was lucky to be able to spend the last week in Naples with my best friend Liz and her wonderful family.  It was great getting to spend quality time together, relax, and soak up the sun on the beach!

 When packing, I knew I wanted to bring pieces that were versatile enough for a day at the beach followed by dinner out.  This Island Company shift dress was perfect!  I loved the beachy feel but was able to dress is up for dinner with wedges and a sparkly necklace.  I have no doubt this dress will be a beach vacation staple from now on.

Happy 2013
