As my sister and I have grown older our parents have focused on fewer, better gifts for the holidays. Typically we choose one or two things we really need (want) and give Santa a not-so-subtle hint in the form of list. Cuyana has the same philosophy. They’ve focused on giving fewer, better gifts this season. And what better way to tell your loved ones what you really want than with a little hint?Photos by Katie

Winter is officially here and that only means one thing: the holidays are too! What better way to kick off the season than with your favorite gal-pal? Whether she needs something to keep her warm and cozy or just a little something to brighten her day, I’ve got you covered for all the must-have gifts for your bestie.
Last week I was in Milan and Madrid, two cities I had never been to before. Milan may have been cold and rainy but it did not stop my from getting my all-time favorite food: gelato. I have a rule that when in Italy you must have gelato at least once a day, and you better bet I followed my own rules.
Madrid, on the other hand, had amazing weather. There were blue skies and the sun was shining, creating the perfect day to explore the Buen Retiro Park.
From rain to shine, there has been one item that has been with me through it all: my cape. I must admit, when I first bought this cape a year ago, I didn’t know if I would ever even wear it. Well, let me just tell you, capes are my new favorite! They are surprisingly warm and go with everything – day or night!
I don’t know about you, but I have no idea how it’s already MID NOVEMBER! When did that happen?! Ready or not, the holidays are upon us. So make sure you are ready and your table is set with these adorable Thanksgiving decor ideas! xx
One last look at a few of my favorite Paris moments! I officially have one week left in Europe. I cannot believe how fast this past month has flown by. But we are definitely ending on a high note so make sure to follow along here for even more!
Another look from my weekend in Paris. For my last day in the city, the sun was out and the air was cool. It was the perfect atmosphere to experience such an amazing place. Around every corner there is something truly photo worthy and let me tell you, the eiffel tower did not disappoint.
je t’aime. xx
This weekend I had some free time to enjoy Paris and take in the beautiful city. My first stop: The Louvre. For a day of sightseeing and tourism, I thought black and white was the only way to go.
I must tell you, for the entire time I’ve been over here in Europe, I’ve practically lived in these Dolce Vita boots. They were a birthday gift from my sister (Thanks, Katie!) and they are literally perfect. They have a small heel to give you a little extra height but are so comfortable you can wear them for a full day of walking with no problem at all! And better yet, they are now on sale! This might sound crazy but you better bet I’m buying another pair while I still can!
Have an amazing week! xx
One of the things I love most about fall is the ability to accessorize with hats, scarves, and multiple layers! As you know, I’ve been obsessed with this burgundy Reiss hat I just purchased but as much as I love it, this black version may be the neutral I need to go with everything else. Also, isn’t this little red bag is everything? It perfect pop of color for any night out!
I got to spend another wonderful weekend exploring the amazing city of London. I was a major tourist and hopped right up on a double-decker tour bus! It was the perfect way to see the city and learn about many of the places I had seen only in passing. And of course, I saved a little time for shopping. This hat I just couldn’t resist!

Next stop: Paris!
Greetings from London! This past weekend I was able to take some time to explore the city. First stop: Portobello Road! After an amazing brunch at Electric Diner, we strolled through the buzzing market. How adorable are all the colorful buildings lining the streets?
