Inspired Interiors
The countdown has begun for the big move. I cannot believe the roomie and I only have a few more days left in our very first apartment. With the reality of moving on the horizon, I can’t help but think about inspiring interiors. I love finding inspiration from other’s spaces and ideas to incorporate in my own home. For example, these mongolian lamb pillows not only look chic, but divinely cozy. Also, I’m always drawn to rustic influences like these dining chairs. In addition, I’ve declared that we are in great need of a fun pouf to act as an ottoman or extra seating when needed!

Changes
It’s official – the roomie and I are moving! Although we have had a wonderful experience in our first apartment, it’s time for bigger slightly bigger and better things! Luckily, we found exactly what we were looking for and could not be more excited.
In my opinion, one of the biggest perks of our new place is the windows. Currently, our apartment has very little natural light so moving into a place with more is a huge blessing. Plus, it gives us an excuse to pick out some fabulous new window treatments.
Even though almost all of our furniture will be a perfect fit for our new place too, it won’t stop me from browsing. Que the pinning frenzy and a relapse of my interior design addiction.

Happy Friday! I hope you all have a happy and bright weekend ahead of you. And most importantly, don’t forget to have some fun!
On a side note, I simply adore these art prints by sugar paper. I’m pretty sure I need them along with all these other fabulous prints, note pads, & coasters! I think that’s it… I fully plan on hitting up their store in Santa Monica while I am there this weekend! Yipee!

Monday’s Mix: Gold Animals
To keep in the animal theme, I’ve decided to post about my most recent crush: miniature gold animals! I like them. A lot. So after seeing all these DIY go-getters online making their very own versions, I’ve decided I would give it a go. Last week I bought this little guy and am planning on giving it a fresh coat of shiny gold paint later tonight. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes : )
