A southern summer needs one thing and one thing only: linen. It was a no-brainer that this linen Island Company dress would be the prefect choice for exploring Charleston. Not only do I love the playful print, but also how breezy it is – the perfect piece to stay cool!
This past weekend I visited Charleston, SC for the very first time. I had high expectations heading into the weekend and I must admit, they were greatly exceeded. Y’all, I’m obsessed!
First off, I should say the reason I went to Charleston in the first place was for my best friends wedding! It was the perfect weekend and I was so honored to be by her side on her big day! Also, didn’t she do an amazing job with the bridesmaid dress?
Since it was a long weekend, we were able to spend the rest of the long weekend in the most dreamy house on the beach in Kiawah Island.

This is one of those dresses for summer that will take you anywhere. Whether you want to pop it on as a pool cover up, or dress it up with wedges for a dinner out with your girls, you can make it fit for any occasion. I would know because I’ve done both! As the temperatures continue to rise here in Dallas, flowy dresses are my main go-to. What’s your go-to to beat the summer heat?
To me, an ideal piece of clothing is one you know you will wear forever. The moment I laid my eyes on this Rebecca Minkoff shirtdress, I knew it was one of those pieces that would live with me for years. A classic piece with a modern touch.
On the other hand, I found this tomboy clutch and thought it was too cute. A little sarcasm never hurt nobody!
Dallas has been consistently gloomy the past few weeks and I’ve noticed the constant clouds have me headed straight towards the color in my closet. If the sun won’t shine, at least my outfit will be cheerful and bright! This coral dress from Buckley K is the ideal dress for summer. While I absolutely love the coral, it also comes in mint which has me begging the question; is two of the same dress too much?
The first time I saw this gingham and gold top by Buckley K I knew it had to be mine. It was all in the details. The classic navy and white print is accented by delicate gold braided straps and the back has a fun tulip cut that adds the perfect touch of flair.
Is there really anything better than navy and white for the summer? I don’t think so.
Y’all I am obsessed with this trapeze dress. I have already worn it on three separate occasions and I am already scheming for another chance to put it on. I will be honest, others will either love it or hate it. But I realized that as long as it makes me happy, who cares what they think! This pink and brown combo reminds me of neapolitan ice-cream and that fact alone makes me like it even more! But if you aren’t into looking like a giant ice-cream scoop, do. not. fret. This dress comes in other color combos like black & white and navy & black! I know, I know. Too good to be true.
I’ve been wearing this little wayf dress on repeat. It’s the perfect mini dress for spring. One of the reasons I love this dress is because it has sleeves. Not to mention an adorable little ruffle detail to boot! But what I really love about this dress is that I can easily transition this dress from work to play. Regardless of the situation, you can easily dress it up or down with a few edits to your accessories!

As a Kentucky girl at heart, I know there are very few things more fun then getting dressed up for Derby day. Whether you are going to the actual event or just a themed party, make sure you look the part in one of these adorable dresses. They are all just too good – I apologize in advance for your inevitable dilemma when picking the one.
As sad as I am to see Piperlime close their doors, I am not too upset with these prices. All the pieces above are less than $100 each. Yep, you heard me right. Better get over to the Piperlime Sale while you still can!
